NRCC, Telekom & Noerr have the pleasure to invite you attend an interactive & practical Knowledge Center regarding Data Protection and the new EU regulation that will come into force from 25th May 2018, with a big impact for every business. While that may sound a long time, there's a lot to do, so start preparations now.

The GDPR replaces the old Data Protection Directive, which was brought into play back in 1995, and updates it to keep pace with the changing data-protection landscape of the modern online world (especially in the era of the Cloud) protecting the privacy and security of all the data collected by organisations, large and small, across the European Union. 

The GDPR is about enabling organisations to realise the benefits of the digital era, the great opportunities presented by new technologies, data analytics and the immense value of personal information. So not being prepared implies more than just the consequences of non-compliance.

Cristiana Fernbach, Senior Associate, Noerr 
Cristiana is a commercial lawyer with over 10 years experience, with focus on IP, IT and data protection law. She coordinates the Romanian IP & Technology Practice of Noerr and is member of the IT, Outsourcing & Data Privacy Practice Group of the firm. She also holds an LLM degree in European Law from the Free University Berlin and an MBA from the Munich Business School. She strongly believes that business is going digital and focuses on the legal changes of the digitalization. She regularly gives presentations and workshops on technology law related issues and is an active member in the AmCham ICT committee in the fields of cybersecurity, cloud computing and data protection.

Adrian Locusteanu, Director of the Delivery Division from the Commercial – Business Segment, Telekom
Adrian has more than 20 years experience in the management of sales and delivery of ICT projects and services for government & Top100 enterprises. He implemented large Informatic Systems and Managed Services at the national level. Having graduated in Computer Sciences and Economy, Adrian holds a Master in Information Security, an Executive MBA degree and is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.


Bogdan Vasiliu, Senior ICT Project Manager – Security Services and Solutions, Telekom
Bogdan is an expert in the Information Technology, Information Security (IS) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) fields with over 20 years of experience, active in the Telecommunication and Banking and Financial Services Industries. He has helped many organizations with the definition, development, implementation and maintenance of their IT, Information Security and Business Continuity corporate governance programs. His contribution to the banking community was recognized within the Romanian Banking Association, Commission of IT&C Experts where he served as Vice-president.
